I can take inspiration
and create something wonderful
from anybody in the world
except you.
Resent and love run side by side
Hand in hand, battling through
an endless lover's tiff
anyone who disagrees is a saint
or a liar.
It makes me realise
that at the end of a very long day
I've decided to put all of my eggs
in a single, warm, TRANQUIL basket.
